1993

• April 18 G.E. International Plaza started construction. The 60 story building, using the best material and most advanced equipment at that time, marked a significant and symbolic milestone in the modernization process of the city. The ancient face of Nanjing could not accommodate the speedy economic and cultural development, and a new symbol is desperately needed to represent the new spirit for reform and innovation. Therefore, G.E. International Plaza, as called"First Tower in Eastern China" since the planning stage, received great interest and attention from the people of Nanjing.

1992

• G.E. Investors visited Nanjing in 1991 and was left with good impression of the overall investment environment. With city government's wholeheartedly invitation and strong support, and with well preparation, Golden Eagle International Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. was formed in 1992. A master plan to construct the new image of Nanjing city Was thus rolled open.
